Working Around Existing Homes and Restricted Access

Residential groundworks often take place in very different conditions from an open construction site. Access may be restricted. Neighbouring properties can sit close to the work. Parts of the existing home may need to stay accessible throughout the project.

We plan around these constraints from the outset, including plant access, excavation, material movement and how different stages are sequenced. This helps the groundworks fit into the wider construction programme, while keeping disruption around the property to a minimum.

Working With Homeowners, Builders and Architects

Some clients come to us directly with drawings and a project ready to begin. On other projects, we work alongside builders, architects, structural engineers and other construction professionals.

Our role can range from completing one specific element of the groundworks, to delivering a more comprehensive package. Before work starts, we review the project requirements, flag any practical considerations, and coordinate with everyone responsible for the wider build.
